Spicy Garlic Wing Sauce

This is one of my most requested sauce recipes, I hope you enjoy it!

As an upstate New York girl... I HAVE to know how to make delicious wing sauce that is packed with a kick and delicious flavor, right?!? You bet I do... Enjoy! (Per the Recipe: Medium - Hot Spice Level)

What Ingredients You Will Need:

  • 1/2 Cup Hot Sauce

  • 3 tsp Brown Sugar

  • 2 tsp Minced Garlic

  • 2 tsp Parmesan Cheese

  • 1 tsp Lime Juice

  • 1/4 tsp Chili Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Black Pepper

  • 1/4 tsp Cajun Seasoning

  • 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder

  • 1/4 tsp Onion Powder

  • (If you want to increase the spiciness - add some cayenne powder and/or ancho chile or chipotle chile powder)

Directions to Deliciousness:

  1. Combine the hot sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, parmesan cheese, lime juice, onion powder, garlic powder, black pepper, chili powder, and cajun seasoning into a medium-sized bowl

  2. Whisk all of the ingredients together until they are well blended

  3. To Enjoy on Air Fried Wings:

    1. If your wings are frozen, par cook the wings in an air fryer at 390 degrees for 15 minutes to thaw and expose the skin

    2. If your wings are thawed and raw, par cook for 5-7 minutes

    3. Flip the wings to ensure even cooking and crispiness - finish cooking them at 390 degrees for another 10 - 15 minutes or until your desired amount of crispy

4. Warm the sauce before coating the wings so that you don't cool down the hot wings before you can enjoy them

5. Best served with ranch, blue cheese, or your favorite veggies on the side!
